Virginia (Vivianna Maya) Padilla passed away peacefully in bed, surrounded by her family, on the morning of Saturday, October 10, 2020. She was as an amazing artist who was talented in many art forms, including micaceous clay pottery, silver jewelry, sewing, and beadwork. As she would say, a “jack of all trades, master of all.” Orphaned as a baby, Vivianna had been on her own since age 13. She raised four children as a single mother. In 1976, she moved to Taos and made it her forever home. She made so many friends that she called her family. Recently, thanks to her Ancestry.com gift, she found her biological family, including two maternal sisters, Laura and Christine, and five paternal siblings, Pedro, Shirley, Sandra, Linda, Colleen, and Deborah. She is preceded in death by her son, Spirit Padilla, who passed away just two weeks prior. She is survived by her children: Heaven, Rohm and his wife Lucy, and Crystal and her husband, Enoch. Her 10 grandchildren: Lenny, Alyssa, Jazz, Tristan, Isabel, Alexander, Skyler, Aaliyah, Aria, and Adam, and five great-grandchildren: Anthony, Angel, Ayla, Amaris, and Avian. Vivianna was known for her selfless spirit, love for music and dance, and most of all, her boundless love for those she called family. Private services were held. The family of Virginia (Vivianna Maya) Padilla has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. www.devargastaos.com 1-866-657-4019
