It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Veltran V. Trujillo. He was welcomed by our Heavenly Father in heaven on March 12, 2025.
Veltran was born on January 5, 1949 in Green River, Wyoming. He was a proud Army Veteran, loving husband, father and the best Pampo. He loved fishing, going for wood, fast cars and wrestling. He was a man of great pride and a friend to all who met him.
Veltran is preceded in death by his father John C. Trujillo & mother Adelina Arellano Trujillo; mother-in-law Anita Graham Archuleta, father-in-law Belarmino Archuleta; sister-in-law Elizabeth “Liz” Vigil and niece Nevada Leigh Archuleta.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Gloria B. Trujillo; daughter Lisette (Emilio), son Veltran, Jr. (Heather) and daughter Laverne (Eric); grandchildren Jeremy Jr, Julian, Esperanza, Adam, Mateo and Martin; siblings Elaine Martinez (Margarito), Ursula Martinez (Gasper), Bonnie Vigil (Lawrence), David Trujillo (Jeanette), Lucy Trujillo, Albert Trujillo, Veltra Duran (Michael), and many more relatives and friends who loved him very much.
Pallbearers serving the family are: Jeremy Jr, Julian, Adam, Mateo, Ryan (Adam), and Esperanza.
Rosary will be recited on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:00am, both held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church. Interment is on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
