Valentine Don Gutierrez

Valentine Don Gutierrez a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away on February 1, 2023. He was born on April 15, 1967.

He was preceded in death by his son Justin Gutierrez; nephew Kelly Beckstead; paternal grandparents Donaciano & Maria Gutierrez; maternal grandparents Benedido Fresquez and Dora Salazar; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Don enjoyed woodworking, carving santos and crosses.  He enjoyed sketching and helping family and friends with any construction projects they were working on.  If there was ever a time that you needed help, he was always willing to help.

He is survived by his daughter Crichelle Torres and son Andrew Gutierrez; grandchildren Jacob, Sariah, Damiana, Isac, Carlos and Hunter; his parents Fred and Nancy Gutierrez; sisters Sarah Beckstead (Todd), Rose Gutierrez, Sonia Valdez (Ricardo), and Wanda Cordova (Edward); nephews and nieces Bryan, Riley, Ashley, Estevan, Natalia, Tomas, Ariana, Ricardo, Marcos and Samantha; and numerous family and friends who loved him dearly.

Rosary will be recited on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 9:00am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00am, at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery.
