Susie M. Lucero

Susie M. Lucero age 82, a resident of Dixon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on April 29, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Lucero; parents Abelino and Amalia Martinez; and brothers Emilio, Victor, Ricardo, George and Juan R. Martinez.

Susie was a strong woman, who loved her family dearly.  She loved working on her garden every year and was very involved and an active participant of the local Farmer’s Market.  Susie enjoyed being outdoors, especially getting wood with her family.

She is survived by her daughters Loyola Lucero and Patty Mondragon (Ricky); grandchildren Adrian Gonzales, Antonette Archuleta (Chris), Alejandro Mondragon, and numerous great-grandchildren; her brother Joe Martinez (Priscilla); sister, Yvonne Sena (Tom); brother-in-law Ruben Lucero (Corina); and sisters-in-law Corina Martinez and Concha Martinez, plus many nieces, nephews, relatives and cherished friends.

Private burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Please keep Susie's entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time we are experiencing.  You may share some beautiful memories on her tribute wall.
