Steven A. Sisneros

Mr. Steven A. Sisneros age 64, of Ranchos De Taos passed away peacefully and surrounded by his entire family on the evening of March 24, 2021. Jose and Maria Sisneros were blessed with his birth on September 16, 1956 in Embudo, New Mexico. Steven is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Beatrice “Guera” Sisneros Rodriguez, paternal grandparents Procopio and Beatriz Sisneros and maternal grandparents Abel and Maria Inez Romero. Steven is survived by his siblings Joe Sisneros (Rose), Johnny Sisneros (Dorothy), Prescilla Varos (Celso), David Sisneros (Maggie), Benita Lucero (James), Mary Cardenas (Manuel), special niece Joan Garcia and nephews he helped raise Andrew and Fabian Mascarenas, as well as many other loving relatives. Steven was raised in the Ranchos De Taos area and attended Taos High School as a Top Ten Senior and was voted Most Outstanding Senior Boy and Most Likely to Succeed. He attended New Mexico Highlands University on scholarship and continued to excel in academics graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration and was named Most Outstanding Senior among Colleges and Universities. Steven taught GED classes, tutored many students, and taught Mathematics at UNM Taos for over 20 years. Steven was known as being hard working who was extremely precise. He helped each of his family members build their homes with perfect corners and accurate dimensions, and never refused to help anyone. He loved to fish, tell a good joke, and watch a good movie. Steven was a man of many talents and will be greatly missed. A private ceremony will be held in Stevens honor at a later date. The family of Steven A.
