Sophie Pineda Muller

Sophie Pineda Muller, age 92, a resident of Arroyo Seco, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023.  She was born in Arroyo Seco on April 9, 1930 to Manuel D. Pineda and Lucarita Pacheco.

Sophie was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Nancy Trujillo (Larry); brothers Orlando Pineda (Floyda), Jake Pineda (Ernestina) and sisters Natividad and Nicanora Pineda.  She is survived by three sons Michael Torres (Dolores), Herman Torres and Leroy Torres (Millie); two sisters Flora Pineda and Josie Lucero; grandchildren Julian Trujillo (Sue), Denice Trujillo, Amy Torres, Amanda Martinez, Michelle Padilla (Lawrence), Adriana Torres, Francisco Torres (Emily), Antonio Torres (Reina) and Maria Teresa Torres (Wayne Lucero); ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 10:00am, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco, with burial to follow at the Arroyo Seco Cemetery.
