Robyn Atkinson

Robyn Atkinson, age 73, a resident of Angel Fire passed away peacefully on June 20, 2022. Robyn is survived by her husband Beck Atkinson who resided in Angel Fire when the Music from Angel Fire Festival was created.  Her love of music attracted her to the early concerts. She immersed herself, with Beck’s support, in Festival activities throughout her life as a volunteer and a board member, including her service in various positions as an officer on the board of directors. Robyn’s spirit of devotion to the music will live on through all who came to know her as the heart and soul of the Music from Angel Fire Festival. Not only was music Robyn’s only commitment to Angel Fire, but she also was a NM SAR Volunteer for 28 years and founder of the Angel Fire SAR and served for several years as a Amateur Radio Operator. She helped the Moreno Volunteer Fire Department and the Eagles Nest Ambulance with training and administrative tasks.  Her presence will be sorely missed.
