Roberto Gallegos

Robert P. Gallegos age 57, a resident of Amalia, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert A. Gallegos.

Robert was employed by Taos County with the Solid Waste Department.  He loved the outdoors and hunting.  He was a professional sailor, devoted catholic, excellent dancer and enjoyed cooking.  His grandkids were very dear to him.

He is survived by his mother Marie Esther Gallegos; sister Wendy Gallegos Valadez (Carlos); partner Glenda Martinez; nephews Sergio Avan Valadez (Alexandra), and Armando Noe Valadez; great-niece Salema Valadez; daughter Maria Elena Martinez; grandchildren Genea Martinez, Charlie Martinez, Peter Martinez, Damian Martinez, Damika Martinez and other loving relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Friday March 13, 2020 at 7:30PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla.  Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 10:00AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Costilla, with burial to follow at the Amalia Cemetery.
