Robert Mason Williams

d. October 20, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Mason Williams, a beloved husband, father, brother, and pioneer in the field of personal development. Rob transitioned on October 3, 2024 at the age of 77, with his loving wife, Raes, at his side.

Rob was born on October 15, 1946 In Tampa, FL to his parents, the late Robert Fulton Williams and Ruby Marie Fitzgerald. He is survived by his dear sisters, Mary Jo Williams (John Latkovich) of Portland, OR, and Eileen Craig (Brian) of Taos, NM. He was preceded in death by his brother Greg, who held a special place in his heart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

From his first marriage to Joyce Ford (née Weekly), Rob was a proud father to his son Ben (Shae), and to his daughter Chelsea of Denver, CO.

Rob was the cherished husband of Raes Williams, his heart’s companion for 17 years—years he fondly described as “the best years of his life.” Together, they resided in Crestone, CO and moved to El Prado, NM in 2016. They were also devoted dog parents to Lotus, their adoring AussieDoodle, and they delighted in visits with Raes’ daughters and grandchildren.

Rob’s life was a testament to curiosity, service, and passion. After completing some college courses, he served in the United States Air Force. Then he earned a B.A. in philosophy at UCLA and many years later a M.A. in Counseling and Personnel Services at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Rob also had a love for jazz music and played flugelhorn as part of his military service and lead trumpet in several big bands, a passion he enjoyed most of his life since the age of 16.

His professional journey began in the business world, where he gained valuable experience before shifting to a career as a psychotherapist. Driven by a desire to help others reach their full potential, Rob originated PSYCH-K® in 1988, a unique process that has transformed the lives of countless individuals around the world. He dedicated his life to his groundbreaking work that helped people overcome subconscious limiting beliefs, heal from trauma, and achieve their dreams. In 2002, Rob published the book PSYCH-K®...The Missing Piece/Peace In Your Life! Through workshops, seminars, and personal sessions, Rob’s approach combined psychology and spirituality, creating a tool for inner peace and self-empowerment. PSYCH-K® Workshops continue to be offered globally by Certified PSYCH-K® Instructors.

Rob’s legacy lives on in the lives he has touched, the hearts that were healed, and through the PSYCH-K philosophy and method. His vision, wisdom, and compassion will be remembered by all who have had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held in late spring 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to AIRE: Agriculture, Implementation, Research, and Education at https://airetaos.org/, a cause close to Rob’s heart.

He will be deeply missed, but his spirit and teachings will continue to inspire us all.

“May you recognize your Divinity, discover your greatness, and become the peace you seek.”
