Robbie Gallegos

Robbie Gallegos age 42, a resident of Taos, passed away unexpectedly and gained his angel wings on October 14, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Gil B. & Clorinda Gallegos; uncles Johnny and Dennis Gallegos; great-grandmother Eutilla Padilla; grandmother Tanny Quintana; and stepbrother Anthony Padilla Hutt.

Robbie was a kind and loving man who lived life to its fullest. Even though communication was very difficult, he found ways to express his love and compassion.  He loved to eat, travel, and spend time with his friends. Robbie especially enjoyed golf, bowling, his computer and watching TV.  He loved his entire family dearly and will be deeply missed by everyone.

Robbie is survived by his parents Jeff & Connie Padilla; stepsister Estrella Padilla; grandparents Gil and Margaret Gallegos; godmother Anita Hutt; uncle and aunts Wilfred & Melinda Garcia, and Brenda Struck; nieces Kendrah and Laylah Gomez; good friend Mikey Gurule; plus many other loving relatives and cherished friends.

Public visitation will be on Monday October 23, 2023 from 3-4pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at 6pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Funeral mass will be on Thursday October 26, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cerro with burial to follow at the Cerro Cemetery.
