Rebecca "Becky" Peralta

In loving memory of Rebecca Peralta. With deep sadness and profound love, we announce the passing of our cherished Becky. Becky left us peacefully on January 28, 2025. Born in Jaroso, Colorado on May 11, 1949. Becky was a beloved, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

Preceded in death by her parents Rubaldo Ortega and Estella Ortega and in-laws, Eloy Peralta and Maria Peralta; Brother-in-law Arturo Peralta (Inez), sisters-in-law Sandy Peralta, Dolly Peralta, Stephanie Peralta and nephew Miguel Peralta.

Survived by her husband Ignacio (Iggie) Peralta; Siblings Doris Vasquez (Chris), Patricia Klingshirn (Bill), Chris Ortega (Christine) and Andrea Sandoval (Alfred); Children David Jund (Julie), Jerome Peralta (Michelle), Monica Silva (Jason) and Luz Pino (Chaska); Grandchildren Mark, Matthew, Stephanie, David, Jacquelynn, Jason, Feliz, Irvin and Geronimo and six great-grandchildren.

All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Taos, her Rosary will be on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 10:00 am.
