Rachel Vialpando

Rachel Vialpando, 85, from Questa, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother entered the gates of Heaven peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 11, 2019.  A beautiful woman who devoted her life to God, her loving husband, and family.  She will forever live in each of our hearts.  She is preceded in death by her grandson, Mario Sanchez Sr., her parents, Leonardo and Mary Sierra, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.  She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Marcello Vialpando Sr., children, Dolores Vialpando (Jake), Susie Martinez (John), Kathy Trujillo (Dave), Marcello Vialpando Jr. (Fran), Linda Sanchez (Arnold), Maggie Vialpando, Naomi Vialpando, and Valerie Segura (Danny), 25 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, 5 sisters, and 1 brother.

Memorial Service and Public Visitation will be held on Sunday December 15, 2019 at 4:00PM in the Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.  A Celebration of Life will be on Monday December 16, 2019 at 10:00AM at the Harvest Church in Questa with the burial to follow at the Elk View Cemetery, located 5 miles North of Questa.
