Prescilla Esch

Prescilla Esch age 81, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away after a brief illness on December 16, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alberto & Felicitas Tafoya; siblings baby sister Susanita Tafoya, Leo Tafoya, Max Tafoya and Emma Tafoya.

Prescilla was employed for over 25 years at Holy Cross Hospital working in numerous units.  She enjoyed providing and preparing wonderful food to her family, as she was a great cook. Prescilla loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Thomas Esch; children David (Darlene), Steven (Sari) and Kathleen; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and siblings Manuel Tafoya (Mary), Vangie Tafoya, Ruby Martinez (Norman), Lucy Tafoya, Santiago Tafoya (Ruby), plus many other loving relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at 9am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at San Francisco de Assisi Catholic Church, with burial to follow at the Talpa Cemetery.
