Pedro (Pete) Trujillo

Pedro (Pete) Trujillo 83 of Taos, NM passed away April 24, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his son Eric Trujillo and parents Jose Teodoro and Frances Trujillo Mares Martinez.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Bernadette; his daughter Janice Cowley (Mark) and son Pete Trujillo III (Liz); his brother Ted Trujillo and sister Cecilia Trujillo; granddaughters Amber Carroll (Justin), Sarah Cowley, Piper Trujillo, and grandson Teo Trujillo; great-grandchildren Collin Carroll, Victoria Carroll; sister-in-law Connie Gray (Malcolm); and brothers-in-law Dan Romero (Esther), Larry Romero (Cheryl), along with many nephews, nieces and cherished friends.

Pedro’s education consists of the following:  B.A., New Mexico Highlands University, Major: Biology, Minors, Chemistry, Secondary Education; M.S., University of Arizona, Major: Microbiology; M.A., Central Michigan University, Major: Management, Health Care and Administration;

His professional work experience includes, the following;

Laboratory Director, The Tucson Clinic, Multi-specialty Group Practice, Medical Technologist, U.S. Air Force Academy Hospital, Colorado Springs, CO., and Medical Technologist.

His community involvement were, Knights of Columbus Member and recipient of “Family of the Year”, President of Lions Club, President of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Board Member of Taos Opera Guild, Member of Taos Planning and Zoning.
