Marie was born in Amalia, New Mexico on June 27, 1944. At 16, she bravely stepped into a caregiver role for her younger siblings after her mother's passing, nurturing them as if they were her own.
Marie's journey led her to marry Everto Arellano and settle in Ventero, New Mexico, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising their children with unwavering love. Her days were marked by a tireless work ethic, tending to the home, ranch chores, and caring for her family. Even in the face of her husband's illness, Marie stood steadfastly by his side, a testament to her deep love and loyalty.
A dedicated grandmother, Marie cherished her grandchildren with unmatched fierceness. She celebrated their achievements, big and small, attending every event and offering her unwavering support. Her grandchildren found comfort in her warm meals, heartfelt hugs, and unwavering encouragement.
Marie Arellano was a beacon of kindness and beauty, teaching all who knew her the true essence of love and faith. Though we mourn her departure, we are grateful for the privilege of sharing life with such an extraordinary person.
