Odessa W. Rasmussen

Odessa W. Rasmussen 98, a resident of Des Montes, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 10, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thurman Rasmussen; daughter Laura McCarty; parents Oscar & Minnie Williams; sisters Willie Mae Smith, Irene Bonner, Mildred Ungar, Alene McCarty, brothers RJ Williams and Oscar Williams Jr.

Odessa was very outdoorsy, she loved to ride horses, planting, and working on her garden. Some of her other hobbies included baking delicious treats and canning different fruits, and vegetables that were in season.  She especially loved taking care of her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Joy Feldman (Jim); grandchildren Monty McCarty (Nickie), Stacey McCarty and Denver Feldman (Aimee); great-grandchildren Kevin, Ryan, Haley, Ty, Kady, Arisa, and Avery, great-great grandchildren Aria and Amelia; brother Ferman Williams plus many other loving relatives and cherished friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
