Maria "Molly" Vigil

Maria “Molly” Vigil age 68, a resident of Pilar, passed away peacefully August 18, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jose & Maria Vigil; brother Elias G. Vigil; brother-in-law Floyd Pacheco, Sr. and nephew Dr. Floyd Pacheco, Jr.

Maria was a kind and loving woman who loved her entire family.  She enjoyed spending time traveling and especially loved flowers and nature.  Maria traveled to the Holy Land and Rome, which was very dear to her.

She is survived by her siblings Dolores Montano, Fabiola Medina, Demecio Vigil (Cora), Estella Pacheco and Georgia Aragon; sister-in-law Vita Vigil; nieces and nephews Barbara Montano, Orlando Medina (Cameo), Chris Medina (Tilly), Roger Medina, Evelyn Asbury (Jason), Marcus Vigil, Ann Pacheco, Felipe Aragon (Adriana), Carmela Aragon, Olivia Valencia (Floyd), Paul Aragon, Phillip Aragon, Gabe Vigil, Damien Martinez, Christine Gonzales, Danielle Gonzales and Destiny Gonzales; plus many other loving family and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 6pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 10am at San Francisco de Asís Catholic Church, burial will follow at the Pilar Cemetery.
