Manuel M. Maestas

Manuel Martin Maestas, born January 1, 1967, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away peacefully April 18, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his son Manuel Maestas, Jr.; grandfather Joe Alex Maestas, Sr.; uncle Joe Alex Maestas, Jr.; sister-in-law Claudia Maestas; stepdad Wilbert Vigil; cousins Nathaniel Maestas, Albert Trujillo, Keenan Cordova and niece Sandra Gallegos; grandparents Anastio Romo & Carolina Romo; and half-brother Anthony Romo.

Manuel is survived by his sons Joseph Maestas (Marissa), Mathew Maestas, daughter Venessa Castillo (Francisco), 5 grandkids Leo, Manuel, Nathaniel, Elijah and Ezaden; mother Elma Vigil; father Tony Romo & stepmother Roberta Romo; grandmother Josie Maestas; brothers John Vigil (Rhonda), Benito Vigil (Desire), Gabriel Vigil (Camilia Gonzales); aunts JoAnn Gallegos, Debbie Maestas, Darlene Salazar (Peter), Margaret Turner (Dennis), Paula Schuldheisz (John), Julie Sanchez (Joe); uncles Andy Maestas (Connie), Terry Maestas (Lynette), Freddy Maestas (Pam), Pat Maestas, David Maestas (Denise), Phillip Maestas; half-sisters Gina Romo and Andrea Martinez (Teddy), half-brothers Chris Romo (Geneiva) and Mikie Romo; plus many more relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Friday April 22, 2022 at 1:00pm followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00pm at San Francisco de Asís Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at the Talpa Cemetery.
