Leo M. Ortiz

Leo M. Ortiz, 37, a resident of Cerro, passed away on September 4, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ortiz and uncles, Greg and Abel Jr. Gomez. Leo was an amazing man who had a heart of gold.  He was very kind and always willing to help others that were in need no matter their situation. Leo was a huge Raiders fan and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. Leo is survived by his children, Aundrea and Leo Jr. Ortiz; his mother Cindy Gomez; siblings, Vanessa Ortiz (DJ) and Gerald Gomez; grandparents, Abel and Joan Gomez, aunt, Naomi Gallegos, uncle, Eddie Herrera (Liz); god daughter, Jaclyn Gallegos and cousin Danielle Gallegos; girlfriend, Shannon Roberts; godparents, Honorio Jr and Maxine Rael; plus many other loving relatives and cherished friends. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 1pm at the Living Word Ministry Church in Questa, with burial to follow at the Protestant Cemetery in Cerro.   The family of Leo M.
