Lorenzo Fresquez

Lorenzo Fresquez, age 70, a resident of Upper Ojitos, born and raised in Ranchos De Taos, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2023.  

He will be remembered by his joyful spirit, willingness to lend a helping hand and his love for woodcarving. His love for animals is only surpassed by his love for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched with his friendship and kindness. May he forever live on in our hearts and minds and may his art inspire those who never met him.

Public visitation will be on Monday December 11, 2023 from 2-4pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.  Rosary will be recited on Friday December 15, 2023 at 10am followed by the funeral mass at 11am at San Antonio De Padua Catholic church in Penasco. Burial will be on Tuesday December 19, 2023 at 11am at the Santa  Fe National Cemetery.
