Joseph N. Martinez

Joseph N. Martinez formerly of Valdez, NM passed away peacefully recently. He graduated from Taos High School in 1981. He had great work ethic as a very hard worker and very smart.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father Nick Martinez, as well as his uncle Gene and aunt Patsy Martinez, who always asked for him.

He is survived by his mother Maxine Martinez; sisters Rosella Martinez (Kenneth), Bernadette Varoz (Lee), brothers Michael and Anthony Martinez. He was also blessed with 6 nieces and 5 nephews, who loved him very much, as he was a very caring and loving uncle. Joseph left an imprint on whomever he met, drawn to him by his bright smile and generous heart.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 9:30am followed by the Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco, burial will follow at the Valdez Cemetery.
