Franklin Dalton Davis, II was born in Amarillo, Texas and left peacefully on January 11, 2022 after suffering from pancreatic cancer.

Frank graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas with a Ph.D. in Psychology. He had a private practice, worked with inmates in prison, and retired as the 504 Coordinator from the Plano Independent Schools. His calling was to advocate for those who were often overlooked and kids with disabilities. He always looked for the good in people.

Upon retirement, he relocated to Taos. He was a member of El Pueblito United Methodist Church and served as a board member of the Taos Coalition to End Homelessness. In addition, he served as a founding member of the Monday Night Men’s Group (MMNG) where many good times were had.

He loved hiking, skiing, camping, fishing and all outdoor activities. He was a caring, giving, honest man with a great sense of humor. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Frank is survived by his wife, brother, children, (4) grandchildren and many friends. Frank requested donations to be made to the Medical and Social Support Fund of El Pueblito United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 1302 El Prado, NM 87529.
