Felix Santistevan, Jr.

Felix Santistevan, Jr. age 81, a resident of Taos, NM passed away peacefully, January 29, 2025 and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

He was preceded in death by his parents J. Felix Santistevan, Sr. & Rafaelita Santistevan; sister Yvonne Washington; and son Jesus Santistevan. 

Felix is survived by his sister Concha Torres (†John); children Gregorio Santistevan (Janice) and Felicia Marconi (Alex); 7 beautiful grandchildren, Sheila Jackson (CJ), Turea Santistevan, Jacob Santistevan (Yrai), Thomas Marconi, John Paul Marconi, Noah Santistevan and Lil Jacob Santistevan; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild on the way; many relatives and friends. 

Felix was a son, father, brother and enlisted Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a rancher, miner, welder and “jack of all trades”. Felix was the Taos Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor for 30+ years and also the Taos Valley Acequia President for 30 years. He will truly be missed by all whose heart he touched. 

Rosary will be recited on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 3:00pm at San Francisco de Asís Catholic church. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 9:30am at KTAO Solar Center, burial will take place following at 2:00pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
