Elvira Archuleta

Elvira Archuleta age 96, a resident of Cañon, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband Felix N. Archuleta; grandchildren Anthony Romo and Kayla Valerio-Romo; siblings Flora Martinez, Aurora Battat, Toni Negrette, Billy Mares, Carlos Mares, Bobby Mares, Eugene Mares, Andy Mares and Adolfo Velasquez and adoptive mother, Elena Romero.

Elvira was a warm, kind, loving mother and grandmother, who cared for her entire family.  She worked for many years at the school in Cañon as the cafeteria lunch lady.

She is survived by her children, Elena Hendricksen (Larry), Roberta Romo (Tony), and Manuel Archuleta (Allison); 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Celina Salazar, Carolina Hall, Orlando Mares (Cordy), Elenor Myers (Dallas), plus many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
