Elizardo M. Medina

Elizardo “Lizard” M. Medina, 69, of Cañon, Taos, New Mexico passed away unexpectedly on January 31. 2025.

He is preceded in death by son, Eli Medina; parents, Juanita and Roberto Medina; siblings, Berlinda, Georgianna, Michael, Janice, George, Annabel and Louie Medina.

Elizardo is survived by his children, Eloy Montoya (Valerie), Helena and Jenna Medina; grandchildren, Mateo and Brianah Montoya, Amberlee Lujan, Isaac Medina, Isaiah Medina and Gunner and Gabriel Lee; mothers of his children, Sandy Martinez and Karen Medina; daughter-in-law, Joanna Medina; siblings, Cipriano Medina (Teodora), Adelmo Medina, Herman Medina (Karen), Manuel Medina (Theresa), Efren Medina (Sandra), Sarah Martinez, Francis Medina (Brenda); sisters-in-law, Patsy Medina, Julie Medina, Beatrice Miera and Paula Garcia, brother-in-law, Mark Martinez; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 6:30pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church.  Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic church in Cañon with interment to follow at the Nuestra Señora de Dolores Cemetery in Cañon.
