Dolores "Dodie" M. Martinez

Dolores “Dodie” M. Martinez, 73, a resident of Taos, passed away peacefully at the Taos Living Center on June 30, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto O. and Cleo Martinez, and brothers, Raul, and Julian Martinez.  Dolores spent the last 22 years of her life at the Taos Living Center, she was a very kind and loving lady. She will be remembered by her “giggles”.  Heaven has gained a beautiful angel who is no longer in pain or suffering.  She is survived by her siblings, Leroy Phillipi (Loretta), Medardo Martinez (Viola), Mariano Martinez (Rosalie), Eleonor Ellie Smith, Edwina Adelida Pease (Lee), Fernando Fred Martinez, Damaso Tony Martinez (Melinda) and special cousin who she considered a sister, Loretta Trujillo. Plus many other loving relatives and cherished friends from the Taos Living Center.  The family would like to thank all the staff who cared for their beloved Dodie for many years.  A celebration of her life and burial will be held at a later date.
