Destry Wayne Walsh

Destry Wayne Walsh age 43, a resident of Taos, NM, passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Dorothy Reid; uncle Michael Brant; and grandparents Celia and Chester Sampson, Sr.

Destry was a wild spirit who burned fast and bright from the day he arrived into this world.  He lived life his way and followed his heart to the beat of his own drum, which he played with all his soul, for all the world to hear.  All he ever wanted was a family and to be close to those who loved him.  Destry was also a master tile setter.  May he find peace in the heavens that he searched for on earth and may the love we gave him propel his spirit into his next journey.  We love you Destry Lion.

He is survived by his children Kindred Walsh and Michael Walsh; parents Chester and Boni Sampson; siblings Mandi Johnson, Dorothy Willcutt (Joseph), and Emily Sampson;  nephew Talon Sampson-Willcutt; niece Sage Sampson-Willcut; uncle and aunts David Rutherford, Maralou Brown, Marsha Wallace (David), Darlene Capozio and countless relatives and friends.
