Destiny Trujillo

Destiny Lynn Trujillo, age 39, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of Taos, entered the Gates of Paradise and into peace on October 25, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her father Rocky Washburn; grandparents Ventura and Rose Trujillo; uncles Daniel Trujillo, Julian Sandoval, Carlos Miera and Agapito Gonzales, and mother-in-law Cristina Perez.

Destiny was a graduate of Taos High in 1998, upon graduating she moved to Albuquerque and attended college where she obtained her associate degree.

She is survived by her fiancé Michael Perez, son Antonio Reynosa, daughters Aliyah Trujillo and Audrina Perez; mother Carolyn Trujillo; aunts and uncles Betty Sandoval, Juanita Salazar (Bernabe), JoAnn Gonzales, Patrick Drake, Peggy Trujillo, Loretta Miera, Louise Trujillo, Michael Trujillo, father-in-law Charlie Perez and many other loving relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 8:30a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where a Rosary will be recited at 9:00a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00a.m.  Destiny will be laid to rest at the Las Cruces Cemetery.
