David Edward Martinez Jr.

David Edward Martinez, Jr. age 28, a resident of Ranchos de Taos and Questa, NM, went to meet with our heavenly Father where he will soar with angels.

He was preceded in death by his father David E. Martinez, Sr.; grandparents Eduardo Martinez and Bridgette Martinez; great-grandparents Fidel and Filomena Martinez; great-great grandfather Eduardo Martinez; uncles John (Shorty) Martinez, Eduardo (Lalito) Martinez, Ernest and Steve “Wedo” Martinez, and aunt Florence.

David was a Taos High School graduate and was currently attending CNM in Albuquerque. He loved all of the outdoors; camping, fishing and spending time driving his truck in the mountains. Sunsets are where he would find his peace and comfort, but most of all his passion was his family.  He loved hanging out with friends and riding his Harley motorcycle.  David will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his mother Pamela Anderson; grandparents George and Terry Padilla; godparents Abe and Reena Garcia; god sisters Sarah Garcia and Alysia Valencia (Daniel); sisters, Crystal Ann, Jenell and Shannon; uncles George Padilla, Jr. (Wilma), James Padilla, Gilbert, Nestor, Frank (Pancho), Ruben Gaby Martinez (Maria), aunts Matilda, Sarah, Jane, Patsy, Lillian, Diane and many more relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday December 7, 2021 at 11:00am at Living Word Ministries in Questa, burial will follow at El Pueblito Cemetery.
