David Romero

David Romero age 62, a resident of Ranchos de Taos, passed away on March 18, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents Octaviano and Andreita Romero; siblings Enrique Romero, Vivian Romero and Christine Romero; brother-in-law William Aguirre and sister-in-law Betty Romero; and son-in-law Valentin Espinoza, Jr.

David served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He was very talented in the areas of wood-working, rod-iron working, and was also a golden gloves boxer, carpenter, furniture maker, mechanic, and mom’s dishwasher.  He loved the mountains, oldies music and animals.

He is survived by his wife Grace Romero; children Geneva Vigil (Mark), Joann Romero; grandchildren Jerome Vigil, Marcos Vigil, Marlena Vigil, and Valentin Espinoza, III; siblings Bernie Romero (Gloria), Loyola Aguirre (Salvador), Lorraine Aguirre, Phillip Romero (Aline), Diana Struck (Nick); sisters-in-law Rosalie Romero, Alice Padilla, Jeanette Sandoval (Jimmy), Sandra Montoya (Benjie), Pauline Salazar, Berna Salazar, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and cherished friends.

Private Family Services will be held and burial will take place at the Vietnam Veterans Cemetery in Angel Fire, NM.
