Daniel Marcos Montoya

Our beloved Daniel Marcos Montoya passed away unexpectedly on Thursday December 7, 2023.  He was preceded in death by grandma Gloria Montoya, grandma Victoriana Montoya, grandpa Tomas Cook, grandma Eralia Cook, grandpa Elisio Montoya, and uncle Richard Ortega.  He is survived by his mother Bobbi Jo Montoya, stepdad Hugo Acosta, siblings, Julia (Jeremy), Lydia and Hugo Jr., his niece Lillyan, nephews, Justin, Jordan, Jeremy Jr., and Jason. His girlfriend, Melanie Abeyta, his amazing sons, Adam, Daniel Jr., Gabriel, his stepchildren, Christina, Julian, Anthony, Emanuel, and Analia. His aunt Stephanie Montoya (Jesus), cousins, Destinee, Marissa, Alma and Victor. Plus, other loving family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Public visitation will be on Monday December 18, 2023, followed by a rosary 6pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic church, burial will follow at the Arroyo Seco Cemetery.  A meal in Daniel's honor will follow at St. Joseph's Hall.
