Connie Leon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Connie Leon, who at the age of 73 and a long battle with cancer, went to meet her Savior Jesus Christ. On September 3, 2024, she passed away peacefully at her home in Cerro surrounded by her loved ones.

Our mom was born on December 5, 1950, to Richard and Margaret Leon. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children; Anton (Geneveive), Juli (Marvin), Naomi (Peter) and Sidni. Her cherished grandchildren; Alyssah (Jose), Audri, A.J., Daniel, Anthony, Jeremy, Katalina, Alena, Jeremiah, Pancho and Cristo. Great-grandchildren; Aria, Noah and Peter. She will be missed by her loving brothers and sisters, Teresa, Juanita (Robert), Joseph (Joann), Ricky (Rachel), Jose (James). Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and prayers that they provided to our mom and family. A special thank you to the nurses at Mountain Home Healthcare and all her brothers and sisters at Living Word Ministries. We would also like to thank Joaquin and De Vargas Funeral Home for taking care of our mom as she is placed to rest.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 14, 2024 at 2pm at Living Word Ministries in Questa, followed by a meal at the Questa VFW.
