Cecilia H. Archuleta

Cecilia H. Archuleta age 81, a resident of Llano Quemado, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her son Filedelfio Archuleta; parents Onofre & Josefita Mondragon; siblings Pat Mondragon, Gilbert Mondragon, Soveida Mondragon, Emmalina Valerio, Teodoro Mondragon; father of her children Roy Archuleta; niece Louella Mondragon and nephew Armando Valerio.

Cecilia was employed by and retired after 54 years, from the Taos Municipal Schools as a school lunch supervisor.  She loved to spend time with her family and especially loved to go to the casino. Cecilia will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Arellano (Eli) and son Rick Archuleta (Berna); grandchildren Roxanne Romero (Joey), Jacob Archuleta, Josh Arellano (Veronica), and Leroy Archuleta; great-grandchildren Elijah Romero (Natalia), Ashlee Romero (David), Marcus Romero, Kyra Romero, Santana Romero, KobeLee Archuleta, Keilani Archuleta, Gabriel Archuleta, Emmalee Arellano, Everlee Arellano, Brian Garcia and Michael Garcia; brother Elmer Mondragon (Nobella) and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, burial will follow at the New Llano Quemado Cemetery.
