Her granddaughter Arya asked her a few days ago what she wanted to be for Halloween and Cathy said a grandma. Arya told her she had to be a costume and Cath said a sunflower Arya’s face lit up with so much happiness.
Thank you for the 55 years of your beautiful life. Life will not be the same without you however you will be in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our daddy, Vicka, Lisa and Tina. As much as it hurts, I know you are in a place we all will be someday. You have raised two young fine men and an awesome puppy; we will all be here for them as you would. Same with your grandkids here and coming. We will always be here for Gene and Duke. We have so many memories that will keep you in our hearts. Like Yole said your last breath here on earth is your first breath in heaven. When we see any sunflower, we will know you are smiling down on us and letting us know you are okay. I know what you are saying “Orale, right”. Another favorite saying when you told her you loved her, her response was “I love you too Big much” Our memories of being Chanclas are the best memories ever. You must be a Chancla to fully understand. Looking for Eagles in the Canyon and trying to capture their beauty with the camera. Camping trips were always the best. We always said it was living in another world. That was when we saw the true greatness that God gave us. The peacefulness of the tree blowing and the mountain’s scenery we loved. You will have that peacefulness every day in heaven and that is God’s gift to us.
Special thanks to Monique Trujillo, Edwina Valerio and sister Yolanda for keeping her comfortable and clean and also to Vanessa CNA and Adam the nurse from hospice. Special thanks to everyone who brought food, love, and prayers. My sister was so blessed to have her family surrounded as she took her journey to heaven. She will be so missed and never forgotten.
