Baldamar “Bobby” Varos, 82, a resident of Ranchos De Taos, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife Pablita “Polly”Varos; son, Robert Varos; parents, Narciso and Nestorita Varos; brother, Severo Varos, and in-laws, Medardo and Elvira Mondragon. Bobby served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. Many knew Bobby after working for many years at Big O Tires as a tire buster and working as a body man for Friday Motors. Bobby is survived by his son, Kenneth Varos (Michele); grandchildren, Rhonda Tafoya, Alexandra Varos, Keisha Varos and Brian Varos; great granddaughter Ashylnn Sanchez; siblings, Precides “Pressy” Rael (Claudio); and sister in-laws, Emilia (Millie) Rivali, Juanita (Nena) Roybal (Carpio) and Frances Martinez (Orlando), along with many other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will be on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM in the Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 7:00PM at St. Francis de Asis Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. Francis de Asis Catholic Church with burial to follow at the New Llano Quemado Cemetery with military honors.
