Arturo "Chude" Garcia

Arturo “Chude” Garcia, a lifelong resident of Questa passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2025, at the age of 71. He was a graduate of Questa High School. He was a dedicated friend and was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and love of the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish with his brothers and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Felimon and Odelia Garcia, brother, Steve Garcia, sister, Veronica Saunders, sister, Pat Garcia Dominguez, brother Archie Garcia, brother-in-law, Joe Damian Ortega, brother-in-law, Ross Dominguez, and nephew Joe Damian Ortega, Jr. He is survived by his siblings, Gloria Sandoval, Robert Garcia (Christine), Maxine Harris (James), Jeannette Janie Garcia, Melvin Garcia (Darlene), Julie Segura (Billy) and Joseph Garcia (Lisa), sister-in-law, Bernadette Garcia, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends. 

Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 6:00 pm at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Questa. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Questa. with burial to follow at the El Pueblito Cemetery in Questa.
