Arthur Mares

Art Mares age 64, a resident of Taos, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2022.   He is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Mares, grandparents, Mercedes and Clofes Barela, Belisandro and Carlota Mares.   Art is survived by his mother Lorein Mares; siblings Mike Mares (Betty Jo) and Kathy Mares; children, Brian (Yanet), Eric (Danielle), Isaac (Rachel), Hallie (Tad); grandchildren, Valerie, Jade, Rose, Natalia, Brian and Caleb; also, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  He loved God, helping others, spending time with his grandchildren, the outdoors, and always saw the potential in everyone and everything. He poured out his love to his community through his work and friendships. We are saddened to see him leave us, but we know that he is now with Christ his Lord and Savior.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 9, 2022 at 11:00am at Grace Brethren Church of Taos .
