Angie "Nanny" Gonzales

Angie “Nanny” Gonzales began her journey to her eternal home on September 25, 2021, unexpectedly yet peacefully surrounded by her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose M. and Eliza Salazar, brothers, Eloy Quintana (Evelyn), Samuel Quintana (Emma); grandson, Brandon Gutierrez; nephews, Jackie Quintana, Norberto E. Vigil, David R. Chavez, and great great nephew Marcelo Enriquez, nieces, Sylvia Cardenas, Debbie Quintana Lopez, and Ana Marie Trujillo. Nanny is survived by her children, Anthony Salazar (Rena), Louis Cardenas (Rita) and Vicente Vega, along with Sandra Vigil (Roberto) whom she considered a daughter; grandchildren, Chris Gutierrez (Diana), Jennifer Price (Derrik), Raymond Gutierrez, AJ Salazar, Matthew Salazar, Eliza Cardenas, Delano Salazar, and Kiahna Cardenas; great grandchildren, Annaleah, Diego, Adriel, Jackson, and Sofia; sisters, Mercedes Trujillo (Raymond) and Dolores Baca (John); and caregiver Anna Ortega; plus many other loving relatives and cherished friends.  Rosary will be recited on Monday October 4, 2021 at 9am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, burial will follow at the Dolores Cemetery.  The family of Angie “Nanny” Gonzales has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. www.devargastaos.com 1-866-657-4019
