Andres Vigil

Andres David Vigil, 32, of El Prado unexpectedly but peacefully passed away on Monday October 31, 2022 due to a short illness. Andres was born on August 15, 1990 in Taos, NM. 

Andres was a loving Husband, Father, Son and Brother. Andres loved spending time with his wife and kids, as they lived a very private life. He enjoyed taking the family to the river where they enjoyed fishing and barbeques. His children were his pride and joy. Andres always looked forward to going hunting and hauling wood with his Dad in the fall. Being in the mountains and nature were his favorite places to be. He also loved spending time with his Mom and Roy, Estrella and Rj for family gatherings and holidays. Her cooking was something that soothed his soul. 

Andres was preceded in death by his brother, Vicente Vigil, grandparents Norberto and Mary Vigil, Jose Vicente Sanchez, Father-in-Law, Floyd "Butch" Weishaar, Uncle Joseph Sanchez, God Sister/cousin Nichole Martinez and cousins Rhonda Vigil and Dedra Sanchez, God Parents Albert and Elvira Sahd.

Andres is survived by his wife and best friend Shari Weishaar Vigil and their children Dominic, Alexas (Mason), Sophia and Vicente (Vigil) his parents Stephanie (Roy) Madrid and Paul (Linda) Vigil, brother Roy Madrid, Il and Sisters Katrina and Estrella Madrid, Step Siblings Jerome (Feliz) Salazar and their children Gabroella, Orion & Nathan, Vanessa (Jaime) Mares and their children Daniel, Danika and Dustin. Grandmother, Genara Sanchez of Arroyo Hondo. Mother-in-Law, Olivia Weishaar of El Prado. 

Other survivors include: His Aunts Noberta and Miriam Vigil, Linda Cisneros, Marcia and Maria Sanchez, Uncles David (Quirina) Sanchez, Lawrence, Richard and Paul Sanchez and Thomas (RBeth)Sanchez. Along with many other friends and relatives who loved him dearly.

Rosary will be recited on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 9:30am, Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Arroyo Seco.  Burial will follow at the Rael Cemetery in Arroyo Hondo.  A meal to honor Andres will follow at the Arroyo Hondo Fire House, all are welcome.
