Alvin Gallegos

Alvin Lee Gallegos age 55, resident of Cerro, NM unexpectedly passed on September 6th, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father’s Porfirio Gallegos and Paul Archuleta (stepfather); brothers Rudy and Ivan Gallegos and Kenny Archuleta (stepbrother).

Alvin was a hardworking man, jack of all trades, that spent many years in maintenance work. Including the Red River ski shop, Molycorp Mine, Forest Service, Balfour Beatty, along with many other occupations. Being skilled in so many areas, he was quick to lend a hand to those around him. He enjoyed projects around the house, riding his motorcycle, and relaxing at the beach. Alvin deeply loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his son Allen Gallegos (Janelle); his mother Olivia Archuleta; his siblings Lydia, Russell, and Joe Gallegos (Rhonda); grandchildren Zachariah and Malachi Gallegos, Amelia Sturgis; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00am at Living Word Ministries in Questa, NM.
