Alonzo "Rocky" Martinez

Alonzo “Rocky” Martinez, 62, a lifelong resident of Taos NM, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eduardo and Terecina Gutierrez and Luis and Drucilla Martinez. He is survived by his parents, Alonzo Martinez Sr., and Rufina Gutierrez; brothers, David and Vernon Martinez; mother of his children, Cynthia J. Martinez; children, Angelica Reza (Robert), Dominica DeFrancisco (Mark), Veronica Saab (Brian), and Elijah and Isaiah Martinez; grandchildren, Jonah Martinez, Azariah Reza, Amaya Reza, Erika Reza, Treston DeFrancisco, Colten DeFrancisco, Kaelie Shannon, Kylah Shannon, Keido Saab, Oliver Saab, and Elianna Martinez; plus, many other loving relatives and friends. Private visitation will be held on Monday March 8, 2021 in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos from 12-2pm with COVID 19 restrictions. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday March 10, 2021 at 10am at the Grace Brethren Church in Canon. Due to COVID 19 restriction only 75 people will be allowed to attend (please limit to immediate family and close friends), with burial to follow at the Los Alamitos Cemetery in Los Cordovas.
