Alejandro Santiago Mariscal age 20, a resident of El Prado, passed away unexpectedly March 15, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Margaret Isabel Arellano and Ubertino Gonzales; paternal grandfather Tereso Mariscal; aunt Beatrice Ortiz; uncle Chencho Aguilar; cousins Juan Mariscal and Gloria Aguilar.
Alejandro was a kind loving man who cared for his entire family dearly. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, listening to all kinds of music and especially staying up to date on the newest and latest trends in Air Jordan's. His family called him the Superman of his family.
Alejandro is survived by his father Tereso Mariscal (stepmother Jessica Treviso), his mother Anna Marie Gonzales (Ronald Cordova); stepfather Daniel Montoya, girlfriend Aniah Lobato; siblings Christopher Vidaurre, Marissa Mariscal, Zayda Real, Carlos Real, Jonathan Mariscal, Juan Mariscal, Daniel Angel Montoya; grandmother Socorro Arana; aunts and uncles Ronald Ortiz, Elsie Aguilar, Carmen Perez (Salvador), Minerva Mariscal, Juana Mariscal (Santos), Isabel Mariscal, Socorro Mariscal, cousins Luis and Elier Perez; best friend Alejandro Flores, god-brother Hugo Fernandez, and many other loving cousins, relatives, and friends.
Rosary will be recited on Friday March 24, 2023 at 6pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at the San Jose Catholic Cemetery in Hernandez, NM.
