Adelmo Rueben Medina

Adelmo Rueben Medina, 32, went to be with his Lord and Savior, February 16th, 2022. Adelmo was born on December 28th, 1989, in Taos, New Mexico and graduated from Taos High School in 2008. He enjoyed many hobbies including music, chess, traveling, skiing, and cooking. In High School he performed with the Mariachi El Tigre, playing several instruments. Adelmo especially enjoyed playing the guitar. After high school, he continued to play and perform as a soloist, mastering many different styles including Flamenco. Adelmo served proudly in the United Stated Airforce. After leaving the service, he completed his certificate in Construction Technology at UNM-Taos. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and great-uncle. He is survived by his parents, Leonardo Adelmo Medina and Beatrice Miera, his sisters Sonrisa-Rachel and Jennifer Medina, his brother Gabriel Taijerón, nieces and nephews, Jayla Medina and Jaime Medina, Isabel Taijeron and Aidan Taijeron; his Godparents Cipriano and Teodora Medina, many beloved Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Memorial Service will be on Sunday June 5, 2022 at 5pm in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.  Burial will be held on Monday June 6, 2022 at 2pm at the Miera Family Cemetery.
